A night of unreleased songs, performed lived
At The Burdock Music Hall

Songwriting can be a solitary, isolating process. Not having a deadline can create all kinds of challenges. The idea for this night is to give artists a chance to share one or two unreleased songs with an audience to get a little feedback, a bit of a boost and a lot of community. The vibe is chill, friendly, low stress, imperfection, artist4artist, inclusive, positive, supportive.

Here is how it works:
Each artist shares one or two songs. At least part of the performance should be live.
For example, it could be a backing track that you are singing live to. Or it could be something without lyrics and you are playing one instrument live.
The song you share should be unreleased in some form. That means it should be a song the public has not heard or one of your released songs you are remixing, rearranging or reimaging. 
You will have the choice to get audience feedback for 5 minutes after your song, but this is not required. 

Dates
You can choose between one of these first two dates:
Monday March 9, Doors 7:30, Show 8pm, end 10pm (Soundcheck 6:30-7:30)
Tuesday April 7, Doors 8:30pm, Show 9pm, end 11pm (Mini Soundcheck 8pm-8:30pm)

Money stuff
Funds from the ticket sales will be split like this:

10% to The Burdock Music Hall
20% to Glad Day Lit (the non-profit)
70% gets split equally among the Artists/Act
That means you will probably get $40-$100 for this. FYI - Funds are split by ‘act’, so one person is solo and another is a band of 3 people, it is the same split. 

Promotion

We want to list the names of the confirmed musicians on our promotion. However, this is not required and you could just be promoted as a 'Special Guest'.
