Glad Day Lit and Watah Theatre have partnered to make available a ‘black-box-style’ carpeted space that is ideal for:
Theatre rehearsals
Theatre performances
Workshops
Yoga or mediation
Discussion group
Intimate social events
And more!
There is no cost to use this space (yes - it is free!). We can also help with some free marketing and promotion of your activities. Note: if you need extra staffing or special equipment, there may be some additional low fees for this.
Priority is given to groups that are meeting the needs and dreams of our communities. Priority is given to groups that traditionally face barriers accessing space in Toronto.
This space is located at 32 Lisgar Street, near Queen West and Dovercourt.
This space includes 2 tables and 20 chairs.
Note: This is only available until the end of 2026.
